The Family Preservation Program (FPP) was developed to encourage the continuity of the family unit by providing probation supervision to youth who are at high risk for out-of-home placement. This program is for youth who have significant family issues, have challenges in school, have suffered trauma, and experience emotional distress and/or other mental health issues. Probation works collaboratively with Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS), Children and Family Services (CFS), community-based organizations, schools, and other collateral agencies.
The goal of the program is to support and assist families in resolving conflicts, setting boundaries, and linking them to resources.
If you have questions about a court case, contact 650-312-8816, and ask for the assigned Deputy Probation Officer.
