Last spring adults and children gathered in Flood Park to share their ideas on what play features should be included in the park’s new playground. We also asked these questions at a community event in North Fair Oaks and through an online survey. We can view the results below in Related Documents.
Based on the data collected, CMG Architecture developed three exciting playground concepts that we’re now asking park users to review and tell us which is preferred. Each concept reflects varying combinations of play elements, color tones, and play area styles desired by park users based on survey results and community events. In this second survey we ask you to use a scale to rate each concept and then rank the concepts from one to three. We’ve included questions about climbing structures and playground colors because the first survey didn’t yield a clear favorite. The survey is available in English and Spanish and will remain open until Sunday, July 14.
Once the survey closes, CMG Architecture will review the data and begin developing an overall playground design that will be presented to the community sometime in September.
