All of Flood Park, including the pump track, is closed until the first phase of renovations are completed, now expected to be mid-December. Maintaining the full closure of the park allows construction crews to move throughout the park efficiently and safely as they finalize installation of facilities, landscaping, walking paths, and paving. No pedestrian, car or bicycle access will be permitted.
When the park partially reopens, visitors will have access to the pump track, small multi-use sports field, and sports courts – tennis/pickleball, basketball and sand volleyball. Some nearby drop-in picnic sites will also be available. Other sections of the park will remain closed while renovations continue and until landscaping is established.
