Health Savings Account: If you elect to enroll in the Kaiser HDHP, you will automatically be enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Benefits Coordinator Corporation. The county will contribute 50% of your deductible to your HSA. For more information on HSA, visit the HSA webpage.

Default Enrollment: If you do not waive medical coverage during the open enrollment period, you will be AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in the Kaiser HDHP with employee only coverage.

Health Coverage Eligible?

Yes, you are eligible for the
ACA Kaiser HMO and ACA Kaiser HDHP, along with a Health Savings Account. Your also eligible for the Basic Short Term Disability

 

You are placed on an ACA
measurement period for 12
months. If you qualify, then you are eligible for the ACA Kaiser HMO and ACA Kaiser HDHP, along with a Health Savings Account.

Deferred Compensation Eligible? 

Per IRS regulations, you are enrolled in the 457 OBRA at 7.5% employee contribution. You are also eligible to enroll in the Traditional 457 Deferred Compensation account.

The County contributes a percentage (2-4%) to your deferred compensation account. In addition, if you elect to contribute to the Traditional 457 Deferred Compensation account, the county will match up to 3% of bi‐weekly base pay.
