Steven Goebel is the Financial Services Manager for the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo (HACSM). With three decades of audit, accounting, and management experience, he began his government career in April 2015 when he joined HACSM as an Accountant II. Steve subsequently advanced to Senior Accountant in November 2018, overseeing many of HACSM’s Accounting, Reporting, and Audit processes. In August 2023 he was promoted again; to Financial Services Manager in charge of all HACSM Accounting and Finance. Steve previously worked for Eidos Interactive, developer of Tomb Raider, and is included in the Credits of nine video games published between 1996 and 2008.
Steve has both a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting Option) and an M.B.A. (Finance Option) from California State University, East Bay (formerly Hayward). He always makes time for rainbows and also likes making larger-than-average soap bubbles with his family.
