Sarah Trela joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2019 after six years in private practice. She currently represents the Human Resources department, practices general civil litigation, and supports the Deferred Compensation Committee and the tax litigation team.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining the County, Sarah was a litigator with O’Melveny & Myers, where her practice focused on white collar, antitrust, and consumer class action matters. She previously served as a government economic analyst working on international illicit finance and corruption issues. During law school, she completed clerkships with the County Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office.
