Kim joined the County Attorney’s Office in 1990. She is currently assigned to: the Agricultural Commissioner, Animal Control, the Board of Building Permit Appeals, Writs & Appeals, Ordinances, the Planning and Building Team, and San Mateo Medical Center contracts review.

Prior Experience
Upon graduation from law school in 1984, Kim performed research and taught land use law at Florida Atlantic University as a staff attorney for the Florida Atlantic University/Florida International University Joint Center for Environmental and Urban Problems and later served as a staff attorney for the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources handling regulatory enforcement and administrative law matters pursuant to the North Carolina Coastal Act. She has also served as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Jose.
