Jan joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2011. She is currently assigned to: Child Support Services, Retirement Fund Defense, Revenue Services and serves on the Medical Malpractice, Child Protective Services and Special Education teams. In the community, Jan volunteers for Little League, AYSO and at her children’s schools.

Prior Experience
Upon graduation from law school in 1994, Jan worked for Hassard Bonnington LLP where she defended health care professionals in medical malpractice lawsuits. In 1997, Jan became an attorney at Landels Ripley and Diamond LLP where she continued her work as a trial attorney. At Landels, Jan handled complex business and environmental litigation matters. In 2000, Jan joined the Orrick law firm. While at Orrick, Jan prosecuted and defended a variety of complex litigation matters including intellectual property, securities and white collar criminal matters.
