Gina joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2018. She is currently assigned to the litigation, general education and special education teams.

Prior Experience
Upon graduating from law school, Gina worked for Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk & Rabkin, defending complex tort litigation. She later joined the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office, representing children in Chicago’s foster care system. After moving back to California, Gina entered the nonprofit sector, and for several years conducted law and policy work to address issues related to the homeless population. Then, in the seven years prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office, Gina worked for Coddington, Hicks & Danforth, representing individuals and corporations in complex tort, insurance and business litigation.
