Brian joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2009. He is currently assigned to: Public Works, the Project Development Unit, the Treasurer-Tax Collector, the Countywide Oversight Board and the Resource Conservation District.
Brian’s past experience in the County Attorney’s Office includes:

Providing advice regarding compliance with California’s public contracting requirements in connection with project and service delivery.

Significant experience litigating civil cases in state and federal court.

Litigation dependency matters on behalf of Children and Family Services.

Advising the Assessment Appeals Board.

Prior Experience
Upon graduation from law school in 2003, Brian joined the Pillsbury law firm as a litigator and handled a wide variety of litigation matters, including white collar investigations, False Claims Act litigation, environmental litigation and labor and employment matters.
