As a member of the County’s communications team, Marshall Wilson works to raise public awareness and understanding of local government and where local tax dollars go. He focuses on the real-life impacts of the Measure K half-cent sales tax and assists departments in using creativity to bridge the gap between residents and their local government.
Marshall also has extensive experience in media relations and crisis communications. Prior to joining the County, he worked as a journalist at the San Francisco Chronicle.
Marshall holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in journalism.
